At Berliner Park in Columbus, Ohio

Prior to Lady Laser Invite






INSTRUCTORS: Current & former college coaches and athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA. 


Coaches from the following college conferences will be giving instruction: Big Ten, MAC, Horizon League, GLIAC, OAC, NCAC, RSC, and more to be added.  Schools will be announced soon. Last years event had over 20 college coaches working.


TIME:   10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  Bring your own lunch.

COST:  $140 for registration prior to June 1st, $165 after May 24th

Number of participants is limited by position and age, register early to secure your spot.

32 Pitchers (must bring a person to catch that is not in the camp)

32 Catchers; 24 Short Stops; 24 Second Base; 18 First Base; 18 Third Base 50 Outfielders

*To meet NCAA regulations camp is open to any and all entrants.  Division I coaches may not be able to start until noon depending on the end date of the WCWS.


LOCATION: Berliner Park, 325 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, OH 43223   Fields 10 – 13 Turf



  • We have successful coaches from all levels who are looking for talented athletes to recruit.
  • Instruction and feedback by college coaches who love to teach the game. They want to help you get better.  Aspire Higher only invites coaches to work that actively interact with the athletes.
  • Ratio of coach to player is about 6 to 1
  • Learn from our coaches what it takes to play in college.  Find answers to the questions “What is the college coach looking for and what do you need to do to become that person?”
  • Scrimmage games coached by college coaches.  Learn more about game strategy. 
  • Position skill instruction, learn the finer points of playing your position.
  • BP on the field with feedback on your swing.
  • Instruction on the two biggest difference makers for successful athletes:  strength and conditioning, winning the mind game.
  • Information on “Understanding the Recruiting Process” and what you should be doing to find a good fit for you. 
  • Hundreds of athletes have attended Aspire Higher Softball events. Get great instruction and exposure for a great price. It is a win win experience for coaches, parents, and athletes.

Rebecca Gamby - USA National Elite team

Rebecca played for the Lasers and Marshall University.

She graduated in 2012 and made the USA National Elite team.

Emma Johnson on January 9, 2016, helping at the Kent State Camp

Emma Johnson played for the Lasers, and then Kent State University, and now plays in the Women’s professional fastpitch softball league (NPF – National Pro Fastpitch) for the Pennsylvania Rebellion.

In 2010 her Lasers team placed 9th in 16+U at ASA/USA Nationals. Glen Widner was the coach.
